About SignLingo

Technology built together with the sign-language community

SignLingo brings together a group of IT professionals and representatives of the sign-language community — educators, linguists, organizations of the Deaf and native signers — with a shared mission: to build a modern, accessible and sustainable platform for learning and managing sign language.

Our work began when we recognized a problem that many countries and regions still face: although sign languages have rich communities and dedicated experts, the digital tools needed for learning, teaching and documenting those languages are often missing or scattered.

SignLingo was created to address that gap. Instead of expecting every organization to build their own software from scratch, we provide a complete, ready-to-use platform that supports both everyday learners and the experts who develop and preserve the language.

Our approach is collaborative. Every deployment of SignLingo is adapted together with local experts: the platform learns from the community as much as the learners learn from the platform. This ensures cultural, linguistic and educational relevance — not a generic one-size-fits-all solution.

Today, SignLingo supports organizations, schools, federations and institutions working to make sign language accessible to everyone — from first-time learners to professionals, families and educators.
